Q: If you could spend the day with anyone doing anything who would it be and what would you do?

A: If I could spend the day with anyone, I would spend it with Michael Waddel! In my opinion, he exemplifies a true outdoorsmen. The way he incorporates his family and friends In his daily life and business shows he stays true to the people that mean the most to him despite being one of the most well known names in the Hunting Industry. I would love to go on a Turkey Hunting trip with him and hangout doing what I love the most, chasing those thunder chickens around the woods!

Q: What sound fires you up?

A: The sound that fires me up the most has to be listening to an approaching Gobbler fire off a deep thunderous gobble, or the cracking of the leaves and breaking of the limbs from a big buck who is chasing a hot doe through hardwoods!

Q: What’s the best day you have had (hunting or fishing)?

A: The best day I've ever had has to be Killing my first Deer with a Bow! He was a 10pt I harvested in Ohio on the opening weekend of Bow Season! To this day he is the biggest buck I’ve ever killed and my first filmed hunt! I’ll never forget the way my heart felt like it was busting through my scentlock camouflage and my pulse pumping so loud I could hear it. The perfect double lung shot on my biggest buck was a true testament to the years of practice I put in. After a short 40 yard tracking job, I was rewarded with my biggest buck and blessed with a clean kill to feed the families of many!

Q: Where is your favorite place?
A:  My favorite place to be is anywhere outdoors. It truly is my peace and serenity! Like they always say, “a bad day in the woods or on the water is always better than a good day at work!” When I’m out there with Nature I feel small, and it’s extremely humbling to be a part of what God created for us to be able to hunt and fish!

Q: What do you do to continue to stay at the top of your game?
A: To stay at the top of my game, I’m constantly picking the brains of other hunters and fishermen with more time and hours put in the outdoors than I. Experience is the best teacher and that is something only time can give you. The older hunters and fisherman, I found are always willing to share experiences they have been through. Whether it be in person asking questions to Wildlife Biologist, reading articles, social media videos, or hunting videos, I am constantly researching and creating my own innovative way to navigate the woods or water by using pieces of others advice to be my own Hunter and Fisherman!

Q: Who do you admire?
A: I admire anyone who has protected and served our country that has allowed me to live freely and do the things that I love to do the most, hunting and fishing. They have sacrificed their lives for me to be able to do so, and I am forever grateful and appreciative!
